    OPPORTUNITY
    Harborview Medical Center – Radiology has an outstanding opportunity for a 90% FTE PART-TIME, MULTIPLE SHIFTS/OPENINGS - FLOAT SHIFT, RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST, CT.
  • INCLUDES 50/50% Xray/CT HYBRID

  • WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?

  • perform skilled radiographic procedures that assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients.
  • provide the appropriate education to patients and their families prior to and post Radiology procedure.
  • participate in the Department QA and QC functions by assisting in the collection of data, and making recommendations as to problems and possible solutions and assist in the orientation of new staff, technologist, researchers, and students.
    WHAT’S NEEDED?

  • Satisfactory completion of formal technology training in an AMA approved school, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    OR
  • equivalent education/experience.
    WHAT’S DESIRED?

  • Completion of a 3 month formal clinical/didactic training program in the applicable modality AND 6 months as a Registered Technologist
    OR
  • 1 year as a Registered Technologist AND completion of advanced course work in the applicable modality.
    LICENSE REQUIRED
    Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist.
