Rad Tech / X-Ray Jobs

This Rad Tech / X-Ray position is located in our Radiology Department.

Hours:

This is a Casual non-benefited position with variable hours.

Starting Salary:

$41.04 – $52.61/hr*** and up (rate of pay range quoted is for 0-20 years of experience.)

***Rate of pay shown is for a Casual position with 15% added to the rate of pay in lieu of benefits.

What you'll do:

• Prepares and maintains departmental records and reports and files patient jackets as necessary.
• Be a member of the Diagnostic Imaging team that provides clinical radiographs as directed by physicians or radiologists in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Identify and instruct patient regarding procedures.
• Prepare patient and adjust equipment as necessary for the performance of x-ray examination.
• Perform Quality Assurance tasks as directed by Medical Imaging Director.

What you'll need:

• Must keep current with CEU credits as required by the ARRT.
• Requires ARRT Radiology Technologist certification.
• Successfully complete an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training course. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and maintain annual registration. Must keep current with CEU credits as required by the ARRT
