About Us


Arslan Capital Management (ACM) is an asset management firm based in Austin, TX. Founded in 2018, we employ fully automated and systematic trading systems based on quantitative models.


Position Description

We are looking for a skilled developer who can communicate clearly, loves solving problems and has an interest in quantitative trading. You will become one of the first members of a team which we believe will be an impressive success story in the future.


Your pay will be competitive and be based on your experience and skill. The position is for an optional hybrid work policy, with at least 3 days per week in our Austin, TX office.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor production processes and debug any encountered problems
  • Design, implement and maintain modules that process market data and generate trading signals in collaboration with researchers
  • Maintain and improve current infrastructure used to process market data, tools and libraries used for signal generation and our order execution framework
  • Build or improve scripts for automating and optimizing operational tasks


Requirements

  • Be an experienced Python programmer
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, applied mathematics, or another technical field from a top university
  • Experience in quantitative trading is a plus but is not required
