Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Quality Technician in Lapeer. Our client is a Manufacturing company. The Quality Technician is responsible for measuring parts and other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities of a Quality Tech includes: Measuring parts
  • Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
  • Collating test data and drafting quality reports.
  • Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.
  • Developing and maintaining company inspection reports.
  • Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law.
  • Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
  • Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
  • Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
Job Requirements Of a Quality Technician
  • Experience as an Inspection or quality technician.
  • Experience drafting reports and collating data.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
  • Advanced organizational skills.
  • Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • High-level of visual awareness.
REQUIRED Experience And Education
Experience with hand measuring tools including but not limited to calipers, mics, and indicators.
Knowledgeable In Prints Is a Plus But Not Required.
