Job Description

1. Conduct required off-line testing for products.
2. Ensure all customer feedbacks are completed on-time, root cause is identified and implemented.
3. Assist in analyzing all customer feedbacks for trends and continuous improvement.
4. Involved in corrective action and preventive action process.
5. Assist in process capability studies as deemed necessary.
6. Assist and/or train plant personnel in GIQ quality system.
7. Assist in maintaining customer property.
8. Assist in maintaining process for document control.
9. Document COA’s, COC’s as required.
10. Participates on customer visits.
11. Defines quality concepts and quality processes, including statistical basics, etc.; applies quality tools; interprets information and data; applies team concepts.
12. Where applicable, support the food safety team to organize its work, ensure relevant training and education of the food safety team members, ensure the food safety management system is established, implemented, maintained and updated, and report to the organization's top management on the effectiveness and suitability of the food safety management system
13. Must know which measurement and test equipment (M&TE) tools are appropriate for various tasks and how to assess tool accuracy and precision; understands the concept of standards traceability for M&TE.
14. Understands and applies basic inspection and testing techniques, including various types of sampling plans.
15. Understands and applies various quality audit types and their components, tools, and techniques.
16. Must be able to control nonconforming material.
17. Analyze SPC data, customer feedbacks, in-house rejection, process capability data, for trends and continuous improvement.
18. Conduct process capability studies as required.
19. Achieve Blue Belt certification.
20. Assist in the development of Quality Action Plans.
21. Analyze all customer feedbacks for trends and continuous improvement.
22. Train plant personnel in the quality system.
23. Maintain customer property.
24. Maintain process for document control.
25. Gather data and report on Customer Satisfaction for plant.
26. Assist in determining plant quality objectives.
27. Act as ISO representative for plant and ensure ISO certifiable/certified status.
28. Assist in managing supplier issues.
29. Ensure processes needed for quality management system are established, implemented and maintained.
30. Facilitate improvement/corrective action teams.
31. Where applicable, manage the food safety team and organize its work, ensure relevant training and education of the food safety team members, ensure the food safety management system is established, implemented, maintained and updated, and report to the organization's top management on the effectiveness and suitability of the food safety management system
32. Active involvement in quality activities including regional staff and review meetings.
