Quality Technician | Cullman, Al | 30K- 42K, Plus Ot

• Travel to customer facility for meetings/ sort and inspect parts when needed.
• Be involved with workshops and discussions with customers.
• Gather samples from the production lines and perform required testing on them.
• Prepare and coordinate corrective actions
• Check and release the first piece of production.
• Perform and coordinate calibration and record keeping
• Sort and Inspect quarantined product
• Perform incoming inspection and testing on Raw materials.
• Document Control
• Conduct Audits
• Be crosstrained in PEX QA functions and PEX lab
• Data entry of test results and calculations.

Important Individual Tasks:

• Must be able to visually inspect product for presence of defect.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be organized to start tests on time, monitor in-progress testing, and stop tests on time.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills, and be able to accurately record/ transcribe data.
• Must be dependable and available for call-out and overtime work.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Laboratory and/or root cause analysis experience is helpful.
• Auditing experience is helpful
• Must be a high school graduate.
• Must be proficient with Micorsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).

Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $30,000-$42,000 A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on his or her skills, education, experience and geographic location. You will be paid time and half for anything over 40 hours.
