About Our Client
My client is a multi-billion dollar manufacturing conglomerate with plants across the globe. They manufacture a variety of metal and electronic products that serve industries such as automotive, medical device, and consumer electronics. Their facility in arlington heights is a cornerstone for the company, and prioritizes quality over anything else. The Sr. Quality Engineer will play a huge role in maintaining the standards this organization was built on.

  • Involved in developing quality control policies and evaluates production limitations
  • Understanding of root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action
  • Ability to troubleshoot CMM program in PC-DMIS or Zeiss Calypso
  • Oversee team of 3-4 inspectors
  • Ability to work cross functionally to resolve quality issues
  • Working knowledge of NADCAP regulations
  • Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications to establish correct inspection criteria
  • Support first article inspection, approve materials, final product assemblies by confirming specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • Assist with creating and maintaining quality documentation.

The Successful Applicant
  • GD&T reading ability
  • 3+ experience in quality
  • CMM Programming with either Zeiss Calypso or PC-DMIS
  • Leadership experience
