Job Summary

**THIS IS A FLEX ROLE FOR THE ALBUQUERQUE HQ. IT IS NOT A TELECOMMUTER ROLE**

**POSITION IS HEAVILY INVOLVED IN MEDICAL RECORD REVIEW – SO THAT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST**

**HEDIS EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED**

BASIC FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for facilitating all aspects of assigned clinical quality improvement projects and evaluation of PCP/MG/IPA compliance with clinical practice guidelines; consults with MG/IPAs, physicians, providers, members, and other resources, as appropriate, to assess, plan, facilitate implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate options and services required to meet clinical quality improvement project objectives; uses available resources to promote high quality and cost effective outcomes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years clinical practice experience.
• Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
• PC proficiency to include Word and Excel.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of operations (New Mexico).
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel (about 20% to Provider Offices/Facilities) including overnight stays.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Quality improvement and/or project management experience.
