Quality Inspector Jobs

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for quality inspection of product at all stages of

manufacturing, & quality-related activities for all purchased

materials, manufactured parts, assemblies, & finished products for

electric-vehicles (EV)

Responsibilities And Duties

• Perform quality inspections at all stages of manufacturing including incoming product
• Participate in Arcimoto's FAI First Article Inspection/first production inspection, &

ongoing inspection plans that are aligned with supplier's capabilities, quality history, &

product needs

• Know, understand, & follow Arcimoto Quality Management System
• Support quality engineering activities during: product development, purchased material
• Ensure all quality measurements are recorded, documented, & properly reported

quality issues, scheduled quality checks & Cpk studies, audits, & quality metrics

activities

• Support Arcimoto quality goals by facilitating permanent quality issue resolution using
• Continuously monitor the manufacturing process & provide feedback

RCA & 8D-based SCAR process, analyze & interpret data

• Support new & experienced employees to improve their job skills to enhance quality
• Communicate timelines & progress with both internal & external stakeholders

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum of 2 years inspection-related industry experience in manufacturing
• Familiarity with state, federal, int'l, & other regulatory agencies & environment

standards, regarding EV, lithium-ion batteries, DOT, ISO, CE, UL, RoHS, REACH,

WEEE, etc

• Quality concepts & methods such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DOE, MSA, GageR&R, 8D,
• Technical background in mechanical testing, electronics, verifying safety & compliance

RCA

• High level of accuracy & detail, strong planning & project management skills & software
• Excellent written & oral communication skills, technical reports, & executive summaries

Preferred Abilities And Knowledge

• 3 to 5 years industry experience in manufacturing of electro-mechanical products for the

medical, aerospace, or auto industries

• CQE, or ASQ six-sigma, or certified auditor for IATF 16949 (ISO/TS), ISO 9001, or

14001

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Arcimoto Manufacturing Plants (AMP/RAMP) is where production, fabrication, warehouse,

and machining activities are present. The noise level in the AMP/RAMP can be moderate to loud

some of the time. The Arcimoto East buildings are where research and development, IT and

servicing activities are present. The noise level in the Arcimoto East buildings is moderate to

loud some of the time. The Arcimoto West building is where Tilting Motor Works activities are

present. The noise level in the Arcimoto West building is moderate to loud some of the time.

Arcimoto has various other buildings where materials, administration, accounting, marketing,

sales and engineering activities are present. The noise level in the various other work
