Job Description
Job Title: Quality Inspector


Location: Bartlett, TN 38133, USA


Duration: 3 Months


Shift Hours: 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM



Job Responsibilities:


  • Creates supporting records and reports.
  • 4-2008.
  • Understand lot sampling per ANSI/ASQ Z1.
  • Operate advanced measurement systems.
  • Coach operations staff on Quality requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to solve quality issues.
  • Assist co-workers with training of Quality standards and requirements.
  • Perform specified functional inspection tests.
  • Perform label inspection.
  • Performs incoming or first article inspection.
  • Assist Quality Engineers with data-gathering activities to support validations and/or studies.
  • Perform in-process inspections.
  • Perform final/sterile release of products.
  • All other essential related duties as required.
  • Initiate NCR's (non-conforming report) when quality standards dictate and assist in MRB activities.
  • Communicate inspection information Operations and Quality personnel.
  • Perform DHR final review.
  • Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and work overtime as needed.
  • Work both independently and in a team environment.


Qualifications


  • A two(2) year Technical Degree is preferred.
  • Inspections Tools: Caliper, Micrometer, Optical Comparator.
  • ASQ Certification (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills as required to perform job duties.
  • Measurement System: CMM, Pin Gages, Microscope, Vision System, Smart Scope.
  • Must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Quality control regulated industry is required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
