Quality Inspector Jobs

Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: 20 Thurber Blvd, Smithfield, RI 02917
Duration: Long Term
Hours: Monday-Friday: 7am-5:30pm
Responsibilities
Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to material inspection / receiving, Nonconforming material investigation.
Ensure that raw material received into the building is consistent with the specifications established by ALCOR's Quality System.
Coordinate/lead the raw material testing program including, but not limited to material sampling, testing and data entry as needed.
Create testing methods/tooling for raw material inspections as needed.
Execute raw material quality compliance in a timely manner including, but not limited to the nonconforming material process; specifically, responsible for investigation and testing and the disposal process.
Participate / Conduct Material Review Board Meetings.
Responsible for the raw material hold/release process.
Participate in supplier audits when required.
Work with the Engineering department to ensure all drawings/part specifications are accurate and the most current revisions are being used.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ years-experience as a Quality Inspector
