As a recruiting partner of Ajinomoto Cambrooke Inc, we are looking for you as a Quality Engineer at the location in Ayer, MA. In your position, you will be responsible for overall ISO system activities as part of the ASQUA (Ajinomoto System of Quality Assurance) required compliance for the Ayer and Brockton sites. You will also ensure compliance with an implemented, established and maintained Quality Management System (QMS). What You Will Be Doing
  • Roll out ISO programs and train individuals that have a role in ensuring required compliance.
  • Leverage internal and external resources to document an ISO compliant QMS.
  • Investigate NCRs, OOSs, customer complaints, deviation, and other quality related events to determine the root cause.
  • Facilitate effective, thorough, prompt execution of investigation, CAPAs and troubleshooting by coordinating the required resources to drive resolution.
  • Provide input into required resources to achieve and maintain compliance.
  • Ensure the quality system is established, implemented, and maintained through internal auditing.
  • Responsible for knowing and communicating quality and food safety regulations, as defined through the QMS and AJICO.
  • Responsible for maintaining the ISO QMS to comply with quality certifications and working with certifying bodies to schedule and re-schedule audits.
  • Lead maintenance of documentation and records supporting ISO QMS compliance.
  • Analyze and report on quality system's data as basis for improvement.
  • Assist in ensuring quality and food safety goals are met by analyzing performance data and providing it to quality and operations management.
  • Responsible for establishing, administering, and maintaining an ISO compliant internal auditing program.
What You Bring To The Job
  • Strong math and science-related technical skills
  • Ability to train and coach individuals on ISO requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management or equivalent experience
  • Ability to present data to an audience effectively in a public forum
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (word, excel, access, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint
  • Prior experience in ISO regulated environment
  • Ability to communicate and transfer data analytics knowledge to team members

  • Travel Requirementsonce a month to the other production site in Brockton
  • En: C1 – Advanced

Nice-to-Haves
  • ISO 9001 trained and certified
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment, biotechnology, medical device or nutraceutical
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification

  • Sp: B2 – Upper Intermediate
