Quality Engineer 1 Jobs

DENSO is looking for a Quality Engineer 1 at the Southfield, MI location. This person will act as the quality customer interface between OEM/Tier customers and DENSO (this includes DENSO Plant, FGs, Global counterparts, etc). The OEM customers being supported are GM, Ford, and Stellantis (customer listing may change based on need).

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to lead/guide non-DENSO responsible quality issues with the customer to ensure proper root cause(s) are identified and appropriate countermeasures are taken,
• Develops expert knowledge of customer portals, processes and overall expectations in order to assist DENSO Plants to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Performs Trial Management activities to include daily review and monitoring of pilot stage activities, reviewing line trial results and reporting and resolution coordination.
• Responsible to lead/guide Quality Resident Engineers for non-local customer assembly plants.
• Monitors, analyzes, tracks and disseminates quality performance indices to appropriate areas throughout organization.
• Analyzes current processes and customer requirements to identify activities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and exceed customer expectations.
• Travels to customer facilities to identify, investigate and resolve quality issues. Works with and coordinates customer and/or appropriate members to address and resolve issues.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-5 years relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, industrial or process engineering or related field, or a combination of work and education

Salary:

• $73,000 - $85,000
