Quality Control Manager

Job Summary:

The Quality Control (QC) Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and/or development processes.


Responsibilities

  • Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
  • Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
  • Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
  • Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
  • Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' relevant work experience
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering


Physical Requirements:


  • Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
  • The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady forcein order tothrust forward, downward or outward.
  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned.
  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
  • Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
  • Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
  • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert forcein order todraw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
  • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

  • Monday – Friday
  • Day Shift (7am-5:30pm)
