Summary:

The Seagen Quality Control (QC) Canyon Park Testing team is dedicated to supporting the release and stability testing of both our commercial and clinical stage programs. This position is responsible for performing the routine and non-routine testing with proficiency and general QC laboratory work for the in-process support, release and/or stability of Seagen’s clinical development and/or commercial products in a GMP testing environment.
Principal Responsibilities:

  • Supporting special projects for potency/analytical problem solving
  • Troubleshooting laboratory or system anomalies (with guidance)
  • Fully comply with company health and safety procedures and practices
  • Creating and revising standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and other documents as needed
  • Identifying and participating in continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain training to current standards and procedures on all assigned curriculums
  • Performing maintenance of QC lab equipment, procedures and systems
  • Applying the principles of good manufacturing practices (GMP) daily
  • Performing sample testing for stability or release testing

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Some experience with troubleshooting and/or an understanding of the listed equipment.
  • Be highly organized with an attention to detail
  • Associate degree in a relevant field with 2 years of experience or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (in addition to 2+ years of relevant experience)
  • 2+ years of experience working in a GMP regulated environment (GMP, GLP etc.).
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Strong data interpretation/analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with a LIMS or other sample/inventory management system
  • Experience with Analytical Software i.e. Empower, 32 Karat
  • Experience authoring or revising Standard Operating Procedures

The hiring pay range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
