Quality Control Analyst I

Quality Analyst I – Dayton, NJ

It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF’s Flavor Quality Control team. In this position, you will ensure finished and raw materials are consistent with IFF specifications through analytical testing. As part of the Quality Control department, you will executive wet chemistry analyses based on standard operating procedures as well as sample preparation, data acquisition, data interpretation, and reporting in support of production.

You will spend your time…

• Other duties as assigned
• Performing tests on finished and raw materials and reporting results
• Calibrating analytical equipment daily
• Entering in results in quality module
• Assisting with the investigation of internal and external non-conformances

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of basic math and science
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry or science related field
• 3-5 years’ experience in analytical applications
• Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of SAP operator system
• Experience with method development and validation as well as implementing statistical process control in a lab setting
• 3-5 years laboratory experience in the food industry
