Flowbird USA is looking to grow our team and has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance/Level II Support Technician in Moorestown, NJ.


Scope


The Quality Assurance/Level II resource is responsible for all aspects of quality assurance across multiple software product lines. The individual will be tasked with defining, designing, building and executing QA test plans. In this role, the tester will work alongside our development and customization teams to assist in the successful delivery of all projects. The resource will be familiar with performance (load) testing and will understand the lifecycle of releases and continuous improvement processes. This resource is also responsible for assisting with Level II support for hardware and software issues escalated from the Level I Support team.


Responsibilities


  • Perform all aspects of QA including creating and executing test plans and scenarios and logging/re-testing bugs, as well as assessing opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Other projects or support as requested by leadership
  • Work directly with other departments and/or key customers during software, service and application deployment to address issues and follow through resolution.
  • Establish criteria for entry into User Acceptance Testing and provide oversight of UAT process alongside the assigned project manager.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and verify reported issues and causes escalated from the Level I team or management for hardware, software and back office applications.
  • Verify customization against sales orders and project guidelines while adhering to deadlines.
  • Collaborate and draft quality assurance policies.
  • Track and monitor issues until full resolution.
  • Participate in the project planning and management processes to ensure the aggressive use of testing, quality assurance methodologies and tools.


Education/Training


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
  • Certified Quality Engineer certification preferred


Experience


  • 3+ years of quality assurance background in digital or information technology projects;
  • Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting; and
  • Experience managing releases for sites or technologies in live/operational phase;
  • Proven success creating test plans and scenarios;
  • Experience in Agile work environments preferred;
  • Experience with electronic vending systems and credit card processing desired


Skills / Competencies


  • Technical skills or aptitude, and the ability to learn new technologies and hardware integrations;
  • Communicate regularly with the direct manager and team members;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Generation of reports using Microsoft Office and other reporting tools;
  • Outstanding written and oral communication, organization and time-management skills;
  • Proficient in testing apps across multiple platforms, including Apple and Android devices & desktop/laptop computers;
  • Basic knowledge of database systems ;
  • Problem solving;
  • Creative, high energy and initiative;
  • Ability for self-learning and understanding of product evolution; and
