Currently we are looking for a qualified individual to work as a Quality Assurance Test Lead with our direct client in Hartford, CT.

***This is a hybrid position and will require in office presence***

***WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time 40hrs – Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM***

The agency needs the service of a Quality Assurance Test Lead (HANDS ON). The specific focus of this candidate will be to ensure that new systems are built in a way that best ensures that functional requirements are met whilst also ensuring that service qualities (Performance, scalability, extensibility, maintainability, security, interoperability) for now and for the future are achievable. In addition, this role is responsible for reviewing and improving on existing systems, making use of new technologies and methodologies to seek continual improvement for existing systems. The candidate will work to create a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions, and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.

Basic Qualifications:

• Good understanding of DevOps and setting up Continuous Integration Environments.
• Knowledge of Web Application Testing, Distributed System Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Database Testing, Mobile Testing, Security Testing, Accessibility Testing, Web Service Testing.
• Object-Oriented design principles and design patterns
• Involved in a minimum of two large scaled Agile software development projects
• 7+ years’ Experience Leading a Software Testing Team
• 7+ years’ Experience with Agile Methodologies
• Experience with automated testing in enterprise system integration projects and initiatives; understanding of and experience implementing enterprise integration patterns.
• Knowledge of Application Modeling and Design
• 7+ years’ Experience with Automated Testing Frameworks, Test Methodologies, Test Strategies and Test Beds.
• Experience in Test Driven Development and testing tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures
• Knowledge of .Net, SharePoint, Dynamics Web Application Hosting Environment
• Knowledge of Testing Tools, Testing Frameworks, Continuous Integration Methodologies
• Thorough understanding of standard QA best practices in an Agile environment including authoring test plans and test cases, executing tests and tracking issues to closure
• Knowledge of Data Modeling and Database Design preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of .Net, SharePoint, Dynamics Web Application Performance
• Experience with QA Functional test suites such as Microfocus Quality Center / Unified Functional Testing.
• Knowledge of Virtualized Hosting Environments
• Testing experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, WCF) and tools such as SOAPUI and SOAPSonar.
• Experience with web automation suites e.g Selenium
• Experience Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
• Working automated testing knowledge for C#, WCF, JQuery, XML, JSON, WebApi, SOAP, .NET, JavaScript.
• Experience with code repositories, version, and builds in Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of .Net, SharePoint, Dynamics Web Application Security
• BS in Computer science, engineering, or technology-related baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, or commensurate experience.
