Position Role Type:

Collins Aerospace is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance senior analyst to join the MRO team in Foley, AL. This position will ensure that the quality of RTX suppliers, products and processes are compliant with internal and regulatory standards and are continuously improving. The identified candidate will help address the adequacy of quality plans, requirements, analyses, risk mitigation, and certification/verification/validation/qualification activities. You will be responsible for continuously reviewing quality strategy, practice, and procedure to ensure the customer requirements are met. Establishing customer relations and communications processes.

This position will be located onsite in Foley, AL.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and makes recommendations for Mission / Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets.
  • Provides maintenance process analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvements.
  • Executes Mission / Quality Assurance project plans and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
  • Conducts collection and analysis of quality information for the development of quality strategy and programs.
  • Reviews and analyzes quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.


Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience in an MRO environment.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with Continuous improvement, RRCA, or other lean initiatives.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and associated technical data.
