Job Description
Who We Are Looking For


We are looking for a Quality Assurance Leads with 8+ years of experience to work exclusively on State Street’s proprietary Accounting applications and workflows. Person in this position will collaborate with peers on cross functional teams (primarily agile) to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role is for Boston, USA location.


This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.


What You Will Be Responsible For


As Quality Assurance Lead you will


  • Develop and maintain Test plan, Test cases, Test data, Test backups, Automation scripts and other SQA artifacts.
  • Enhance the testing process with new tools, strategies or to enable QA efficiencies.
  • Understand business requirements and define test strategies for software applications.
  • Participate in daily Agile standups, iteration planning, product demos and application walkthroughs.
  • Incorporate automated test scripts into continuous integration process.
  • Perform Integration, System, Regression, Compatibility and User acceptance testing phases.
  • Collaborate with business and development team in delivering the work items without ambiguity.
  • Maintain and track the test deliverables in test management tool.


What We Value


These skills will help you succeed in this role


  • Hands on experience with Test Management tools and Defect Tracking tools like RTC, ALM and Jira.
  • Expertise in Scripting and programming language like VB scripting, Java Scripting and Java.
  • Expertise in Creating, Debugging and maintaining complex application Test scripts.
  • Strong Functional and application testing skillset.
  • Prior work experience in Capital Markets/Financial domain is a must.
  • Expertise in testing/automating web based application, mainframe/desktop application, API’s and Webservices.


Education & Preferred Qualifications


  • 8+ years of experience in Functional/Automation Testing
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in Capital Markets/Financial domain


Additional Requirements


Proficiency with different Automation tools and capability of executing test cases via automation tools.

Salary Range


$80,000 - $132,500 Annual


The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
