The Quality Assurance Engineer - Video Systems maintains the overall quality of all Video Systems that are pulled, prepped, and staged for shipment, working within the limits of standard or acceptable practice.

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

• Receive and review show assignment or rental reservation and show order. Pull equipment from warehouse locations and stage in designated area.
• Maintain appearance and functionality of all video equipment and systems.
• Maintain system integrity of all video systems and packages.
• Make on-site service calls to help resolve video system issues (when directed by manager).
• Assist technicians and clients with problems or questions in the field.
• Reposition product meeting LMG quality standard in staging location in preparation for manifesting, packing and loading, marking staged lots to indicate status of order.
• Visually examine components to determine obvious requirements for cleaning, repair or other preparation to meet with quality standards. Make minor cosmetic repairs including the routine cleaning and replacement of labels.
• Support sales and installation departments with any technical needs.
• Help to train new employees in the department.
• Quality control all video systems and packages before and after every rental (as possible).
• Work from reservations, show quotes, pull lists and other similar documentation.
• Build system racks based on order requirements.
• Set up Video Systems or packages for inspection and functional test. Ensure that systems are complete and operable to suit LMG and customer requirements. Perform firmware and software updated when directed or required. Work with EQL, manager and Video Leadership to correct any issues with the R2 order or custom configurations. Work with manufacturer technical support to help resolve technical issues. Forward product which fails to perform to LMG or manufacturer standard to Engineering for analysis and repair. Communicate requirements of repair and scheduling. Follow up with manager, EQL and Director of Video Services to ensure that equipment will be repaired and available for shipment within required time limits and work with EQL and manager to investigate and determine alternatives to resolve malfunctions, define alternative set ups and fulfill customer orders meeting quality specification.
• Respond to inquiries from internal staff or customers and assist in resolving technical issues.
• Assist in the construction of new systems as directed by Manager or Systems Development team.

Base Salary Range: $23.90/hr - $35.42/hr This represents the low and high end of the company's base salary range for this position. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
