WorkSource Montgomery, Inc. (WSM) is a nonprofit organization and fiduciary agent for Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act funding in Montgomery County. The non-profit organization operates the American Job Centers in Wheaton and Germantown and provides employment services to county residents who are unemployed or underemployed. Additionally, WSM engages employers in various industries throughout the county to ensure that their workforce needs are being met.

WorkSource Montgomery is looking for a talented Quality Assurance Coordinator to oversee our quality control/ assurance procedures and strategies across our grants and programs. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing an approach to ensure the highest level of quality for all WSM grants and programs.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated competence in quality assurance/control and will be able to manage different initiatives simultaneously. They will also prioritize consistent branding guidelines and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all legal standards are met
• Report all discrepancies to ensure immediate action
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
• Assure the reliability and consistency of ­­­­documents and files both hard copy and electronic files.
• Monitor all operations that affect quality of service delivery
• Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
• Review current standards and policies, update and maintain accordingly
• Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
• Appraise grant and program requirements to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• BS/BA in business administration or relevant field preferred
• Outstanding communication skills
• Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach
• 3-5 years proven experience as a quality assurance specialist or relevant role
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
• Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
• This position is contingent upon the successful candidate completing a criminal background investigation.
