Job Description

Perform a variety of duties associated with the Quality Management Department, to include the collection and analysis of data, creating data reports specific to various BHR programs, conducting mental health and substance use disorder quality improvement reviews, developing and conducting staff training, assisting with grant writing opportunities, collecting and reporting on various contract deliverables, and performing utilization management activities. This position also serves as the primary backup position to the Director of Quality Management for all audit-related activities such as state licensing reviews, federal compliance audits, and contract monitoring.

Compensation: $56,118 - $77,334 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in both individual and group settings.
  • Two years of applied clinical experience with persons with behavioral health issues, preferably in a community behavioral health setting, preferred
  • Considerable knowledge of and experience with the principles of quality management and process improvement, preferably with internal and external auditing experience, preferred
  • As a health care provider, BHR still requires our employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid, unless they have requested an accommodation for medical or religious reasons and that accommodation has been already approved by BHR. If requesting an exemption, any job offer will be conditional while BHR reviews and decides on whether the accommodation request will be approved or denied.
  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field required.
  • Mental Health Professional (MHP), or Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) designation, or both, preferred.
  • Skilled in the use of computers, report writing, and related software applications, including intermediate to expert level skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong clinical skills (including assessment, DSM-5 diagnosis, ASAM, evidence-based and best practice treatment interventions, documentation, professional ethics, and cultural competence), preferred
