We are looking for an ambitious, detail oriented, articulate, high-energy, Quality Analyst (QA) who will be responsible for ensuring quality in various SaaS products servicing the Warehousing & Logistics Industry. The QA will be passionate about identifying needs of the system, validating implementation from the user’s perspective, providing improvement ideas, creating and executing test plans, and engaging with the overall Software Development Lifecycle as a member of our growing team.

What You'll Do

  • Read and understand training manuals of internal and external systems necessary to facilitate testing with partners
  • Create, own, and update testing plans to ensure quality of product is maintained as new features are added
  • Participate in release planning and execution to ensure updates successfully reach our end users
  • Provide support for automated testing efforts and augment with manual exploratory testing
  • Create and update our Confluence wiki with operational information to sustain knowledge share across the team
  • Support issue tracking and resolution with customers in collaboration with the team
  • Help plan and validate JIRA task board items and work with the team determine testing strategy for each
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to determine requirements and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions


Who You Are

  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Able to read and understand system & data flow diagrams to help facilitate and create testing plans
  • Experience with AWS is strongly desired
  • Experience testing for accessibility is a plus
  • Experience with designing and creating automated tests is a plus
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making
  • Experience with software testing methodologies
  • Attention to detail – both from the users perspective and in validating data stores
  • You love to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment where you are valued as a person.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Familiarity with JIRA (issue tracking) and Confluence (Wiki) or equivalents
  • Working knowledge of SDLC and software development standards
  • Experience in the Warehousing & Logistics industry is a plus


What Comes Next:

  1. The hiring manager will review your resume and determine if we feel there is a match based on your skill set.
  2. If there is a perceived match, we will have an initial phone interview to get acquainted with you and introduce the company.
  3. If there is mutual interest, we will proceed with a technical interview with one or more team members, and finally a culture-based (non-technical) interview that will see if you are a match for our organization.
  4. The culture interview is with the leadership team of WarehouseQuote Technologies and is the most scrutinized interview of the three.
