Job Description

Exciting Job Opportunity: QMA Position at The Barrington of Carmel!

At The Barrington of Carmel, a premiere senior living community with a reputation for unsurpassed customer service, our team of QMAs work collaboratively to provide exceptional and compassionate care to all our residents, particularly those who are most vulnerable. Join us in delivering high-quality service that truly makes a difference in the lives of seniors and their loved ones.

In this position, you'll enjoy a favorable schedule without regularly scheduled weekends. The position requires working from 7 pm to 7 am, following a two-week pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and then Monday, Thursday, Friday. We're currently offering a base rate of $23/hour, with an additional $2/hour for night shifts, making it a grand total of $25/hour.

Here's a glimpse of what you'll be responsible for:

  • Administering medications: Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate dosages and proper administration.
  • Monitoring residents: Pay close attention to any adverse reactions to medication, promptly reporting concerns to nursing staff or medical professionals.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of medication administration and other essential information in the electronic health record system.
  • Assisting with daily living activities: Provide support with dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living as needed.
  • Transfers and mobility: Assist residents with transfers and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Additional tasks: Run errands, direct visitors, and handle telephone calls as required.
