EXPERIENCE

7+ years of experience in an information systems environment which provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities required. Basic understanding of insurance required. Quality Assurance process and team leadership experience required. Additionally, this position requires demonstrated knowledge and expertise in a broad range of information technology applications and infrastructures, as well as knowledge of how these technologies can be leveraged to solve business needs.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience with SQL query required
• Knowledge of team building and employee motivation theories with the ability to effectively manage a single cohesive functional employee team.
• Ability to apply the principles of independent logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Experience/knowledge with Agile process is a plus.
• Functional automation with QTP or Selenium is a plus
• Ability and proficiency in the use of computers and company standard software specific to position, including spreadsheets and the Internet.
• Substantial Manual Testing
• Healthcare background, claims or billing will be a plus
• Expert knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, including automated testing and test strategy.
• Ability to interact with others to build consensus and get decisions implemented.
• Ability to effectively develop and present the unit’s standard metrics and status reports, and respond to questions

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Management/Statistics, Technical Business Administration, or a related field required.

Combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
