About the Job:

The Test Engineer III, QA Engineering provides both manual and automation testing of mission critical systems at Taco Bell. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in software testing and learn from experienced professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to become a core member ensuring the quality of in-restaurant products: Kiosk and Arrival Monitor. There are many exciting features planned for both products which will provide an excellent growth opportunity as well. The Test Engineer III, QA Engineering will report to the Manager of Quality Assurance and will work with a team of quality engineers.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Analyze software requirements and technical design documents, design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to cover requirements.
  • Setup up and maintain test environments and test data as needed.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality software releases by participating in Agile development processes and daily stand-up meetings to ensure status updates are provided to the stakeholders on testing progress.
  • Identify and document software defects and report them to project and development teams along with other quality metrics like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot failures in automation scripts.
  • Participate in continuous improvements initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc. is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, etc. required.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills along with good written and verbal communication skills too.
  • Ability to work with and help direct the testing efforts of a small group of QA engineers.

Salary Range: $90,900 to $129,360annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
