About the Job:

The Software Quality Engineer is responsible for identifying issues with software products before launch and driving impact across the Taco Bell business by maximizing the end-user experience and ensuring smooth deployments to the field. This role will have the opportunity to bring innovative testing solutions with the aim to deliver world-class products to the 7000+ Taco Bell restaurants nationwide. The Software QA Engineer will report to the QA Team Lead.

The Day-to-Day:

• Coordinate with the development team to resolve defects and with product owners to ensure the correct functionality has been developed.
• Prepare appropriate test environments and labs. Execute test cases and automated test scripts, analyze test results, and create and review detailed software bug reports.
• Review requirements and technical design documents to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute automation scripts; monitor and troubleshoot failures.
• Track and report quality metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

Is This You?

• AWS Expertise: Showcase your proven track record and proficiency in working with AWS.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding and hands-on experience in executing automation scripts using Rest Assured, Selenium, TestNG, Maven, Appium, Jenkins, GitLab, Cucumber, and/or other similar tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent years of experience.

Preferred Skills:

• API Testing: It's a plus if you have experience with tools like Postman (or similar API testing tools) and can effectively test and validate APIs.
• Project Management: Familiarity with JIRA (or relevant software) is preferred, as it helps manage and organize project tasks effectively.

Salary Range: $39.23 to $55.90 hourly + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
