Mandatory Skillset
Automation Tools Strong hands on experience on automation of UI application using Selenium with Java and API services REST Assured
Best practice and expertise in design, develop and implement End to End Manual and Test Automation.
As a techno functional Test Engineer, you will be responsible for Designing and Execution of Test cases based on requirement use cases and automate them.
Good understanding of code repository tools like GIT HUB and BitBucket
Identify the bugs and track it till closer.
Work in an Agile team set up. Actively collaborate with Dev, AD and PO and UAT teams to ensure successful and on time project deliveries.
Implement strong control and checks on Jiras code Releasing to UAT and Prod. Automation of existing and new test cases Think out of the box to automate complex flows that would integrate peripherals with vendor software.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Defect management tools it is essential that QA testers have complete knowledge of various defect management tools, such as Microsoft Test Manager MTM and JIRA
Database management systems used to write queries and upgrade databases following debugging or repairs of product defects Applicant must be knowledgeable and have experience on Teller software designed for the North American Banking system. Must be able to explain transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments.


Further Skillset Explanation
Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience and spanning across Automation and Functional Testing using BDD or TDD.BS or B.Tech degree or equivalent experience.
Experience working in Agile, Incremental and Iterative, Scrum, XP, or Lean environments, CI CD.
Strong experience in designing and developing test automation framework, test scripts and tools.
4to6 years of strong experience of test automation using Java, Spring, Selenium, Cucumber, shell scripting.
Hands-on knowledge of tools like GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, confluence, various monitoring or alerting tools.
Assist Software Developers with Design Processes QA testers apply their knowledge early in the software development process. They work closely with developers to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues. Collaborate with Dev Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.


Additional Skillset
Programming languages basic understanding of programming concepts and languages, such as C and Java, are helpful for those in this occupation
Good to have knowledge of UI Manual testing.
Test data management using SQLs.
Cloud Services Technologies AWS
API testing is plus
Data set up and conditioning is plus to have
Banking Domain knowledge Core Banking knowledge is preferred.
Well versed with Black Box automation testing.
Knowledge of other API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI etc. is an add on.


Responsibilities
Identify and develop manual and automated Selenium framework test scripts for the Small Business Deposits product.
Identify all data requirements and work across various teams to provision data to satisfy test scenarios.
Provide daily execution and defect metrics to Test Management for reporting, adhering to TCoE standards.
Partner across development and testing teams to triage and resolve defects.
