– Quality Assurance Analyst

Lextech is looking to add a QA Analyst to the team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for creating test cases, manually executing tests, identifying bugs and issues, helping developers reproduce and solve problems.

As a tester, you will be responsible for validating new feature functionality and ensuring bugs and other new code has not regressed the existing functionality of the mobile front-end applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform smoke tests to ensure successful releases
• Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process for new features, with an eye toward testability
• Provide consistent communication regarding testing status to both the Engineering and Business teams
• Perform end-to-end regression tests in preparation for new releases
• Write and execute manual tests scripts necessary to ensure the operation and correctness of new features
• Perform front-end user acceptance testing for all new features
• Write detailed and easy to understand bug reports

Skills and Competencies/Education:

• Extensive knowledge of front-end mobile testing
• Ability to pick up new responsibilities quickly
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android native features
• Self-starter who can work independently as well as in team environment
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential to success
• Understand how to read a test plan and execute test cases
• Experience with the Agile methodology and regression testing
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Experience in both Confluence/JIRA or equivalent tool for software development
• Minimum 5+ years of working as a Quality Assurance professional in Agile working environment
