Purchasing Estimating Manager Jobs

Our client a Commercial Solar Energy Solutions organization that provide solar design, engineering, procurement and quality construction are looking to hire a Purchasing Estimating Manager in their Austin, TX division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine the appropriate procurement and requisition strategies
• Analyze, evaluate, and identify preferred vendors
• Hire, develop, evaluates and influences effective and consistent productivity
• Provide guidance in determining vendor standards for evaluating performance
• Preview and analyze purchase agreements with key vendors
• Produce detailed analysis and report results of vendor scorecards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency with MS Office products and advanced Excel skills
• Skilled in effective oral and written communication
• Knowledge of electrical engineering and construction
• Understanding of electrical and construction takeoffs and estimating based
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish working relationships

EDUCATION:

• Minimum 12 years of related work experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required;

SALARY:

• $85,000 - $105,000 + package
