Job Description
JOB TITLE: Purchasing Coordinator


REPORTS To: Purchasing Manager


Company Overview Tri-Source Pharma is a pharmaceutical manufacturer/distributor operating in both the human and animal health care industries.


Job Summary:


This position is primarily responsible assisting the Purchasing Manager with all aspects of inventory, purchasing, and clerical duties. This position is heavily reliant on interacting with multiple departments within the organization including Sales, Customer Service, Regulatory, Accounting, and operations as well as external customers.


Responsibilities


  • Manages timely deliveries from suppliers
  • Daily ordering
  • National account catalog maintenance as directed by purchasing manager (Coupa Catalogs)
  • Maintains Accuracy of product availability/pricing on the Website
  • Works with Purchasing Manager and Director of Operations by following SOPs and departmental objectives to help the organization meet its strategic goals.
  • Maintains accurate suppliers’ records including terms, credit limits, and Compliance.
  • Manages returns to vendors
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory in the company's ERP system, including stocking levels and re-order points
  • Maintains accurate records of cost changes
  • Provide accurate product updates to sales team
  • Manages pricing as directed by Purchasing manager
  • Reconciles price discrepancies with accounting
  • Create purchase orders


Qualifications:


  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to department and company objectives.
  • Must be able to recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems.
  • Associates degree (A.A.) or a related equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required.


Computer Skills:


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus.
