Purchasing Analyst
The Purchasing Analyst Will Be Working Closely With Field Employees, Division Engineers, Technical Specialist And Administrative Staff To Perform Activities Around The Purchasing And Management Of Materials For Operations And Projects, Such As

• Ensure continuity of supply, consistency of quality and competitive pricing of materials purchased for operations and projects.
• Provide assistance to field mechanics, technicians and project managers in placing, expediting & receiving material orders.
• Maintain documentation records for materials purchased.
• Provide assistance to project managers with project completion documentation and cost reconciliation.
• Oversee the pipe yard near Louisburg, KS

Qualified Candidates Should Possess

• Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of procurement practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a business/technical field or 4+ years of similar work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments.
• Extended hours/workdays on short notice
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees, management, and vendors.
• Knowledge of equipment used in the transportation of natural gas (pipe, valves, fittings, compression & ancillary equipment, etc)

The successful candidate for this position must live within 50 miles of the office which is located at 7500 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS. Overnight travel will be required at times but should not exceed 10-15%.
