Responsible for the management, facilitation, and coordination of the City’s technology public safety division as it relates to general operations, technology issues and operations of the network and data systems, software applications, and data center for compliance and adherence to minimize, neutralize, and eliminate potential technological threats, issues or cyber shut downs. Duties performed through the analysis, evaluation, development, testing and implementation of complex enterprise-wide computer software applications; oversee the analysis of business and user needs and the recommendation of software applications. Provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Department of Technology and Innovation Deputy Director and Director

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information systems, computer science, or a related field; and
Five (5) years of information systems analysis and applications development experience; and
To include two (2) years supervisory experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's license, or ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.

- Research, analyze, and evaluate new service delivery methods and techniques
- Analyze business systems and determine user needs
- Oversee and participate in the provision of IT infrastructure services
- Principles and practices of budget preparation and administration
- Select, supervise, train and evaluate staff
- Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Negotiate vendor contracts and ensure compliance with specifications
- Assume project management responsibilities of software applications and information systems analysis
- Interpret and apply Federal, State and local policies, laws and regulations
- Provide technical consultation to various City departments regarding information system needs
