Overview:

• Safe guarding the dignity and justice of all who are entrusted with our care.
• Promoting and practicing fire and safety prevention.
• By providing fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors.
• Performing all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards
• Healthcare Professionals striving to provide a safe and secure environment for the delivery of exceptional healthcare through the healing ministry of Jesus.

Qualifications:

• Complete Kronos training INFO119
• Acts on behalf of or interim of the Public Safety Manager when appointed for specific periods of time
• Education: High School Diploma
• Complete Kronos Training INFO025
• Licensure: Valid State drivers license
• Complete EPSi Training INFO156(If classes above are changed or discontinued class of equivalent nature maybe substituted)
• 18 years of age or older
• Complete Kronos Training INFO026
• Other Skills and Knowledge: Has completed at least 48 months of active employment with Mercy Public Safety/ Security Department (Or equivalent training, education and/ or job experience)
• Experience: Meets or surpasses all requirements of Supervisor Public Safety
• Coordinates officers, processes or programs as directed by the Public Safety Manager or Director
• Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensure:Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.
• Experience:Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
• Education:College degree
