Responsibilities

  • Leads proposal writing teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts, and preparing proposal submissions.
  • Reviews and be an expert in business operations for service and efficiency improvements.
  • Facilitates client discussions.
  • Understands and be an expert in complex federal regulations and requirements.
  • Identifies new sales opportunities and follow-up on sales leads.
  • Develops and executes new growth strategies
  • Develops communication plan with clients.
  • Analyzes and interprets federal and state law and regulation.
  • Assesses best practices and compliance errors and provide technical assistance to clients.
  • Independently manages complex projects, staff and tasks with limited supervision while meeting and exceeding performance expectations.
  • Delegates tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Identifies gaps and shortcomings, and determine necessary workarounds.
  • Manages daily project functions and client interaction.
  • Serves as project manager and subject matter expert within the practice with a strong understanding of federal requirements for funding and service provision.
  • Prepares other written reports and materials for clients.
  • Plans and monitors ongoing project tasks.
  • Identifies and elicits requirements from key stakeholders in each engagement.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor degree or 10 years’ experience required, graduate degree preferred
Experience: 5-10 years’ relevant work experience with Adult Protective Services (APS), Home and Community Based Services (HCBS), and/or Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS), strong preference for candidates with investigation experience in these areas.

Required Skills:

  • Able to work independently and consistently achieve excellent results.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to successfully identify new business opportunities and up-sell to existing customers.
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills
  • Able to work effectively with all members of project teams.
  • Strong quantitative skills and able to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Ability to research, analyze and interpret policy, legal briefs and regulations.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $100,000-$120,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
