We are currently seeking PT Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers to work nights and weekends who live in the following zip codes: 28269, 28262, 28078, and 28216.

No professional pet sitting experience necessary - we will train the right people.

Rachel's Pet Sitting LLC only hires employees, not independent contractors! This means you are fully protected on the job through liability insurance, bonding, and workers compensation. You will also receive full support and training.

Sample Job Duties:

• Ensure that the home is secure by locking doors and windows and setting security systems as necessary.
• Administer medication or other special care as directed by the client
• Feed and provide water for pets
• Clean up litterbox and any other pet related messes in the clients home
• Communicate with clients through our pet sitting app to provide updates on their pets or to address any concerns
• Walk clients dogs and pickup poop
• Perform additional tasks as requested by clients, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, or taking out trash
• Drive to clients home for pet visits
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of the pets and the safety of the community
• Observe the behavior and physical condition of the pets and report any concerns to the clients

Basic Requirements:

• Over 18 years of age
• Available to work most holidays
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Local full-time resident in one of the following zip codes: 28269, 28078, 28262, 28216
• Enjoys being active & outdoors rain or shine
• Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Reliable & safe personal vehicle with up to date insurance
• Own a newer smartphone with unlimited data plan
• Excellent time management skills
• Able to walk a few miles at a time for dog walks and handle multiple pets
• Ability to pass a background check
• Loves animals AND people
• Ability to multi-task
• Available for evenings and weekends
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem Solver
• Able to commit to this position for 6 months or longer from date of hire
