A small group psychology practice has an opening for a psychometrist to start by September of 2023.

The individual must be available to work 20 to 30 hours during the week, daytime to early evening hours. The office is located in the El Segundo area, about two miles south of LAX.

The assistant will help with administering and scoring psychological tests, editing test reports, and conducting semi-structured client interviews.

We require the applicant to have basic PC skills, basic good communication skills (follow up calls with clients, other providers, medical insurance representatives), comfort using software for computer scoring of psychological tests, and good word processing skills. We will train for other, specialized tasks. The potential of accruing post-doctoral or pre-doctoral hours for licensure is viable for the right candidate. Hourly compensation range is from $25 to $40 hour, depending upon experience.

The ideal candidate is someone recently graduated or enrolled in a graduate program in psychology. The individual must be good working with people, must be able to work independently, and must possess a mature demeanor. The individual must be consistently good with his/her attention to detail, ability to work efficiently, and reliability.
