Promotions Associate Jobs

The Disney Parks, Experiences and Products team is looking for a self-starting, relationship-oriented teammate. This Promotions Associate will work directly with our senior Parks Promotions leadership - within the Synergy and Partnership Marketing and Promotions Team - to provide support to the Disney Cruise Line Promotions business. This role will support and execute on strategic partnerships and integrations that drive business goals of reach/audience expansion, awareness, and gain reciprocal marketing from third parties and owned and earned media. To be successful, this person will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be resourceful, creative, meticulous, and capable of managing multiple projects with limited supervision.

The Promotions Associate will report to the Sr. Manager of Promotions.

Responsibilities

This is a role providing support for the Promotions team as it relates to the primary ideation, creation, and execution of Disney Cruise Line initiatives. The Associate will also be responsible for identifying and evaluating tactical opportunities focusing on core and targeted audiences.

Programs include but not limited to Promotions with Broadcast Media and Non-Media Partners, Special Events, and Third-Party Partnerships. Majority of the Associate’s communication is with the Promotions senior leadership and market management team, as well as internal & external stakeholders and partners. This position will also work closely with our Marketing Support Services, Broadcast Production, Special Events teams, and in-house creative team, when needed.

Other Responsibilities

Includes but not limited to:

• Track/Maintain department prize inventory.
• Manage team meetings.
• Track partner contracts and all prize fulfillment on all partner programs
• Administrative support for creative and business affairs, as needed.
• File management on all major program initiatives – (partner creative, pitch sheets, Roadmaps, ICCPs, Ap.com)
• Logistic support during all major Press Events and station tours across the top Local and Regional markets for LOB's
• Develop Promotions and program recaps for the team.

Basic Qualifications

• Working knowledge of internet, websites, social media as well as Adobe and Photoshop
• Can work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Demonstrates ability to be resourceful and share creative and new ideas.
• Think creatively and partner in solving issues.
• Demonstrate computer proficiency within a MAC environment.
• Demonstrate organization skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years in a marketing environment or equivalent
