Job Description
Project Manager
The experienced Project Manager manages key client projects. They are responsible for every facet of a project, from parceling out tasks to picking materials. They should have the requisite skills and be able to focus on four critical aspects of a project or product delivery: Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects: set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. The Project Manager should be multi-talented when leading their team and have both hard and soft skills.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs.
May require a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of other team members. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Possess the aptitude to come up with, manage and deliver a project on / under budget and timeframe. If unexpected financial issues arise, you will be authorized to manage them and reallocate resources where necessary.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ability to keep everyone on schedule and, when issues arise, are responsible for resolving them and communicating effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Possess the ability to guide the entire project from ideation to fruition, clarifying its scope, necessary resources, anticipated timeframe, communication strategy, and more.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Project Manager Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Working experience with any project management software tools like Microsoft Projects, Basecamp, Nifty, Teamwork Projects, Zoho Projects, Trello, Jira, Asana, LiquidPlanner, TeamGantt, Backlog or similar programs is a plus.

Ideal candidates would have at least three years of experience in a related role, the ability to communicate, and some formal training. PMP certification is a plus. Certification can be acquired through a professional association, a university or college, or through a specially focused online learning program.
