We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team.

This Senior Project Manager will be able to manage several heavy concrete jobs in multiple locations around the Tennessee Valley area while working out of our Huntsville, AL or Columbus, MS office. The successful candidate will have 5 to 10 years’ experience in the industrial market, a strong background in project management and experience working with concrete and complex concrete placements.

This Senior Project Manager will be required to:

• Coordinate correspondence between the design and construction team
• Maintain procurement, submittal, and RFI logs
• Initiate change orders to the Owner and solicit bids from Subcontractors
• Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
• Initiate RFIs to resolve issues in the field and plan discrepancies
• Review design and shop drawings to evaluate the impact on the cost and schedule
• Manage labor resources
• Prepare Subcontractor scope of work letters
• Provide schedule assistance and track daily production
• Process, review, and track submittals

The Successful Applicant will also have:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Construction Management desired but could be replaced with experience
• Excellent written skills
• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar
• Computer literate with the ability to become proficient with software such as Primavera, Procore and MS Project or experience with such
