What You’ll Do
Under general supervision, responsibilities include the planning, scheduling, directing, and overseeing of assigned projects. Ensures that projects are executed in accordance with customer requirements, and within the budgeted cost and time schedule. Position is key interface with the customer and responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction. Position will report directly to the Senior Project Manager.
You’ll wear many hats, but a day in this role generally includes:
  • Joins special project teams as required.
  • Conduct product inspections, review drawings, track manufacturing and material lead times, and create takeoffs.
  • Assist with collections on projects as needed.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials, supplies, and services necessary for timely and cost-effective completion of project within budget; collaborate with Purchasing to research new material and suppliers.
  • Prepare project timelines, change proposals, and project invoices.
  • Translate a variety of customer needs and requirements into detailed proposals and project implementation plans to meet customer requirements.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.
  • Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals, and related project activities on a regular basis with customer and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage, oversee, and coordinate projects of moderate complexity from award through completion.
  • Review costs and develop product and project estimates and customer proposals.
  • Provide technical assistance to sales team when required.
  • Effectively communicate project requirements and timelines to project team and wider organization as and when required.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
  • Follow up on outstanding quotes. Move lost quotes to history.
Knowledge, Skills, And Ability You Will Need
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and develop solutions
  • Demonstrates initiative – engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities
  • Adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Previous relevant project management experience
  • Team leadership, team building and facilitation skills
  • Familiarity with INFOR CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) ERP desirable
  • Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computer, copier, scanner, and telephone

Education And/or Experience
  • A high school diploma required; an associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of project management experience
