Expected annual base salary range: $77,600 to $108,500
JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager, Global Language Services is responsible for overseeing large complex translation projects with paper and eCOA implementation in accordance with sponsor requirements and applicable SOPs, guidelines, work instructions, and any other relevant specifications. The Project Manager ensures exceptional delivery of WCG services.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications/Experience

• Proven success in linguistic validation process and operational aspects of clinical trials.
• 3 years’ experience managing translation, localization and linguistic validation projects or comparable experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

• Oversee internal staff assigned to projects and approve time spent in accordance with budget hours provided.
• Disseminate information, issue instructions related to the assignment, and manage the translation project to all parties involved.
• Escalate any risks to project specifications and timelines to senior Management and affected departments.
• Verify that the translation service specifications have been complied with before approving the target language content and gives clearance for delivery to the client
• Monitor the project to ensure compliance with agreed upon schedule and deadlines.
• Serve as a resource/subject matter expert for internal teams regarding translation.
• Manage the life cycle of translation projects.
• Identify the required translation project milestones and deliverables during study start-up to define the translations study scope and develop a project management plan.
• Coordinate interdepartmental communication/work with the project team, science advisors, and technology development department.
• Allocate resources provided to meet quality standards and timeline constraints.
• Coordinate communication with external vendors as needed including license holders of assessments.
• Prepare the project management plan including development of timelines to meet sponsor submission deadlines and implementation on technology tools as required. The project management plan will also identify resources necessary to complete the project.
• Participate in sponsor meetings and audits, as required.
