Job Description
We're looking for a Project Manager to own and love the processes of our agile kanban-style product delivery team, working in a hybrid or remote setting. You'll manage delivery of multi-team projects in our regulated software-as-a-medical-device products, coordinating the project plans across product managers, engineers, QA, and regulatory. This position offers a salary of $90,000-$97,000 based on experience, stock options, paid family and caregiver time away, healthcare insurance, unlimited paid vacation and short-term sick time, and more.
Hi, I'm Fred, and I lead Product Management at EnsoData. We're happy to announce that we're looking for a new teammate - a Project Manager passionate about making healthcare better. The mission for the Project Manager is to make sure that all the required steps are completed for every project in our regulated softwares as a medical device, that everyone who is invested in a given project understands what is due on what timelines; and to escalate when things get off track.
On a given day, you might:
  • Coordinate the product management, engineering, QA, and regulatory teams around individual Project Development Plans. Help break requirements and designs down into sequential steps, make sure that user needs, system requirements, acceptance criteria and test plans are created at the right time by the right people to eliminate bottlenecks, track the development team’s progress, and help organize testing.
  • Work within a Kanban development framework similar to agile: work with the engineering teams to participate in scoping of requirements and technical scoping sessions, record follow-ups and track down the answers to decisions that need clarification.
  • Manage delivery of individual feature projects. You'll plan timelines and monitor estimated delivery dates and scope. Help the development team keep all the information they need organized, and smell smoke when scope and timelines are off track compared to appetite for invested time in a project. Help develop contingency plans as necessary.
EnsoData
EnsoData strives to make healthcare more accurate, efficient, and affordable through waveform artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Using AI and machine learning, our software analyzes billions of data points collected from sensors placed throughout the human body. Our first solution, EnsoSleep, reduces the time clinicians spend analyzing, scoring and managing sleep studies. This results in a simplified and accelerated patient testing, diagnosis, and treatment workflow. Our AI-powered technology has the capability of informing health decisions beyond sleep medicine, from monitoring patient health in the ICU or through wearables, to detecting and capturing seizure data, to providing earlier detection of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and Alzheimer’s.
Requirements
  • Has an entrepreneurial mindset, an obsession with product quality and an eye for design
  • 2+ years in project management of the development lifecycle of a shipped/released software as a service in a regulated environment; for example as a product manager, product designer or project manager.
  • Experience in a regulated medical device environment is preferred.
  • Has partnered closely with software engineers to build products and complex systems at scale. 2+ years of experience using agile Kanban methodology a plus.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the calendar year
  • Industry knowledge of one or more care pathways in a healthcare setting
  • Digital health and startup experience preferred
  • Experience with a development issue ticketing system such as Jira, Forecast, or GitHub Issues

  • Put Customers First - delights customers by working closely with them to support their initiatives
