Project Manager - Federal Food & Nutrition

• Remote (Only within the State of Texas, USA)

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management or process improvement management.
• Experience with Federal Food & Nutrition Programs.
• Experience with D. C. Office of State Superintendent of Education’s Orchard Child Nutrition Program (CNP) Portal System

Responsibilities:

• Monitors and manages project quality to ensure that project deliverables fulfill agency expectations.
• Evaluate the necessity for system enhancements taking into account regulatory requirements.
• Document system functionality, business use, reporting requirements, and workflow specifications.
• Advise on projects, offering solution-design support and best practices for process management.
• Facilitate process gap analysis with business sections to determine gaps between current and future systems.
• Works independently and in coordination with TDA staff as assigned, to perform a variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
• Identify and document process gaps for the implementation of a new software system to include business needs, process feasibility, user requirements, and data mapping.
• Keep all stakeholders informed through the distribution of project information and project status reports.
• Identify potential project risks and difficulties and recommend solutions.
