Edge Electric is looking for a Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team in AUSTIN, TEXAS.
*** Must be willing to relocate to the Austin, Texas area. We will pay a $10,000 relocation bonus for the right candidate! ***
As a Project Manager with Edge, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that will shape the future of Austin, Texas.
We value safety and quality in everything we do and are seeking Project Managers who take pride in their work. Project Managers at Edge will be responsible for all financial reporting on a project as well as tracking and projecting all labor, material, job expenses, and changes. This individual will also oversee monthly financial projections, and the creation of a job-specific schedule of values that maintains positive cash flow, and will create, submit, and manage all submittals throughout the entire project. This position requires the successful candidate to possess strong organizational, negotiation, financial, and communication skills.

- Provide coaching/counseling to the foreman

- Read blueprints, and review bid documents and specifications for accuracy/discrepancies
- Manage submittals, RFI’s, drawings, correspondence, change orders
- Conduct post-mortem project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with tenant finish-outs and some ground-up experience
- 5+ years’ experience in the commercial electrical industry
- English / Spanish bilingual is desirable but not required
- Working knowledge and experience in Procore, Outlook, and submittals are preferred
- Familiarity with Procore is desirable but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
- Extensive understanding of electrical systems and installation
- Ability to read plans
