Summary
Responsible for new product introduction focused on flow controls. Will follow new product into manufacturing oversight and management. Will be required to review literature/document requirements associated with projects; identify project team, scope, and technical/operational requirements; develop and schedule team responsibilities, project plans, budget, timelines, resources, etc.; manages and directs production schedule, ensures proper resources are in place to provide a safe and efficient manufacturing environment that meets our quality and customer demands. Also responsible for providing project updates; identifying, tracking, and solving project and manufacturing issues; evaluating deliverables to ensure work meets specifications and quality.

  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
  • Develop and administer the departmental budget; approve and manage expenditures; forecast short and long-range budgeting needs; ensure expenditures are in alignment with approved budget.
  • Manages project from initial concept through final implementation, utilizing established guidelines and procedures
  • Develops and schedules team responsibilities; technical/operation requirements; detailed project plans, project budget, timelines, resources, etc. to accomplish project goals; continually follows up with team to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Works and provides technical leadership to cross-functional teams to identify project team key players and jointly determines project scope and requirements.
  • Provide project updates and information to executive leadership team
  • Oversees the creation of a safe and efficient manufacturing process that delivers quality product
  • Attends meetings as required and/or assigned.
  • Oversees production line implementation, operations, and maintenance
  • Focused on new product introduction, focused on flow controls
  • Manages innovation and optimization projects, including leading project meetings; documents issues, action items, user requirements, or deliverables; updates project schedules and plans, project communications, budget tracking, etc.
  • Prepares and maintains project reports and status updates.
  • May be required to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Evaluates deliverables prepared by team to ensure work meets specifications and maintains a high level of quality.
  • Oversees cross functional design of assembly processes
Required Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to plan and implement business solutions
  • Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Excellent project management and team leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, scope, quality, manufacturing processes and risks
  • Knowledge of engineering design and practices
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
  • Ability to estimate projects and develop corresponding timelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in stakeholder management
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
  • 10+ years related work experience in manufacturing/operations leadership
  • Industry and valves experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Project Management experience required
