Position : Project Engineer
- Project Engineers are responsible for delivering projects to manufacturing in support of the plant’s goals.
- Project work may include development and testing new manufacturing equipment and technologies, supporting new product development, technical problem solving, equipment design, equipment validation, and managing equipment vendors. Project Engineers must have strong project management skills including timeline and budget tracking.
- Technical Writing including machine specifications, validation protocols, capital requests, and test reports.
- Change management including Factory Acceptance Testing and Equipment Validation.
- Project work may include development and testing new manufacturing equipment and technologies, supporting new product development, technical problem solving, equipment design, equipment validation, and managing equipment vendors.
- Equipment design reviews.
- Responsible for delivering projects to manufacturing in support of the plant’s safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
- Concept development including prototype and new product testing.
- Capital Request / Management
- Liaison to equipment vendors.
- Problem solving.
- Project management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Leader and required to support the needs of the business.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (engineering or related field) required.
- High-speed manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Project Engineers must have strong project management skills including: timeline tracking;
- Planning and coordinating resources;
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Work, Excel, and Power Point.
- Knowledge of machine design.
- Knowledge of CAD, MS Project and SAP preferred, but not required.
- Developing cost/capital estimates;
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Project budget tracking;
- Adept problem-solving skills.
- Proficient technical writing/documentation capabilities;
- Project management skills.
- No direct supervision of others
