About the role:

In this position, you will lead sanitary and storm water flow data review and QA/QC projects for the Hach Flow Data Delivery Services (DDS) team! We will rely on you to support the broader DDS team in developing advanced reporting and remote service offerings.

Several locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only one position is available. This role will require up to 10% domestic travel to customer sites or other operating sites.

You will:

  • Work collaboratively with Technical Support team to resolve hydraulic data issues from customers
  • Complete monthly data analysis, flow balancing, and reporting for key DDS customers
  • Analyze data for calibration, trends, patterns, and outliers; using graphical and statistical analysis
  • Follow standard processes for routine data processing and preparation of data for review and audits
  • Manage, develop, and revise sanitary sewer flow data review, reporting, and QA/QC projects for Data Delivery Services program
  • Serve as a customer facing Hach Flow water expert related to flow hydraulics, especially as related to measurement of flow in sewer systems

  • B.S. degree or equivalent required, Environmental or Civil engineering preferred, with a minimum 2 years of work experience in the water industry or other relevant industry required
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic principles, hydrology, and fluid dynamics required; Familiarization with sanitary and storm water flow data a plus
  • Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Windows, MS Office, MatLab or other similar coding languages in addition to experience using software for hydraulic analysis required
  • Data analysis & editing

The annual salary for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
