About The Role

The Project Design Manager is a hybrid position with a focus on project management that provides opportunities fordesign development.This position is responsible for representing Site Pieces by managing projects of various scales,communicating with clients, and coordinating with general contractors.They will work directly with designers andcontractors to guide the design and installation of projects that include both standard and custom furnishings.They willprovide product information, answer any questions that may arise, and be able to work collaboratively to provide tangibledesign solutions to the unique needs of our projects.Site Pieces is a relatively new company, so we are looking forsomeone who can wear several hats and has the desire to grow into a larger role within the company.


Who You Are

• You have strong project management skills which include all the good things like being organized, have a high attentionto detail, time management, and ability to problem solve on the fly.

• Ideally, you have a background or previous experience in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, ConstructionManagement, Industrial Design, and/or Fabrication.We are looking for someone that understands constructionpractices, can interpret and navigate construction documents, technical drawings, and specifications.

• You are passionate about design and have a critical eye for details and the overall aesthetics of products.

• You are a highly motivated self-starter that also thrives in collaborative settings.It’s important that you are able towork individually and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent grammar and writing skills for all types of deliverables.

• Enthusiastic attitude with a friendly, open personality.

• Understands and cares about the importance of representing a brand – you very well could be someone’s firstinteraction with Site Pieces.


What You Will Do

• You will be the point person for design professionals and contractors to assist in the coordination and management oflandscape-focused projects.

• You can expect to manage project schedules, review shop drawings for accuracy and clarity of information, prepareRFIs, and be solutions focused in your coordination with both design professionals and contractors.

• Engage with external partners, sales representatives, general contractors, designers, and other clients/partners.

• Work with our sales team to provide information necessary to generate quotes for new projects.

• We would like to see you grow into a role where you support the development of new product and work closely with ourproduction team.

• Partake in educational opportunities with design professionals.


Ideal Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or Industrial Design

• Expertise in 3D modeling and BIM software (SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite applications

• 5+ years professional experience in a related field

• Experience in the architectural design profession (Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design + Planning,Industrial Design, or Construction Management)
